This is a legit taqueria. Coming from the West Coast, rolling up to this place brought smiles to our faces while most would've brought uncertainty. This place has delicious tamales, pozole, and tacos. The prices were reasonable. They have a sit down area both inside and outside. They also offer canned and bottle drinks.

I grew up in LA, which is to say I am a taco snob. We happen to be in Tampa and found this on yelp. Ordered 6 tacos: asada, al pastor, and borrego (lamb). They were excellent. The lamb has a bit of (very tolerable) gaminess to it. To boot, the waitstaff spoke no English, the other customers are all Hispanic. This is the joint!

Excellent food, excellent service from Millie - great job folks! Stopped in this morning for some Juevos Rancheros and they hit it out of the park: home run all the way. From the fresh salsa and sauces, to the "over medium" eggs, everything was perfect and worth every dime. Wish I could go back RIGHT NOW but rest assured, I'll be returning soon!!

Delicious Mexican food. I dropped by for an afternoon snack, which ended up being a meal because the menu looked so darned good! I ordered a horchata, a carnitas taco, an asada taco, and a lamb taco. Despite the small order, I was brought chips and salsa while I was waiting. The food came out quickly, so I didn't eat toooo many chips, just too many. ;) The tacos were excellent. I don't think the tortillas were house made, but they were still pan fried and generally held up to the fillings. There was a generous amount of meat in each taco. I don't know which meat I liked the best. They were all delicious! I'll happily return to this little taqueria if I'm in the area.

If you looking for a place that serves homemade Mexican enchiladas and burrito. You must come here. I felt I was back home at my mom's kitchen. Service was very polite and pleasant. Ambiance is unique in its own

I was very happy I strolled in here there are many items in the hot cases I would like to try. But I had a taste for authentic tacos. You know cilantro and onion. That's it sooo good. Steak meat was delicious and moist good job. Price was right too. Service was table service and fast and friendly.

I visited Taqueria Mi Mexico on a Saturday afternoon with my husband. We decided to check out restaurants we did not know that were on the divey side over the Valentine's Day weekend. This place has Valentine's balloons all over the restaurant. We walked in and sat ourselves and grabbed menus. The menu has a ton of great options including Tex Mex and a lot of fish. I was ecstatic when I saw Lamb barbacoa on the menu. Always a favorite of mine. This did not disappoint and came with rice and refried beans and veggies including perfect avocado. My husband got the pork Quesadilla which I tried and thought tasted a bit too fatty. The restaurant is a bit of a hole in the wall which I like, I want good food, I don't need fancy. Service was good and speedy. I don't like having to pay $1.75 for a dinky bottle of water though and was not offered tap. If you are craving Mexican or lamb! Check this place out.
